Received from publisher: Shut Out by Kody Keplinger (OMG have been waiting for this ARC forever! Thank you Hachette!)


I had won a signed copy of Divergent in a TLC Auction a while back, and there's been some delay in getting it to me--which I was totally cool with, but Veronica Roth's agent said she would send a little something my way to tide me over. This is the awesome package I got today:

Um, that's a SECOND copy of Shut Out! And both packages arrived on the same day! The circle things are faction tattoos, and there's also a discussion guide. Woohoo! And since I now have TWO copies of Shut Out, you can bet a giveaway will be happening soon!

(And can I just say how impressed I was with the packaging from HarperTeen? The package--about 2 feet long--was stuck in my porch railing when I got home from work, and I was devastated because it was raining and the package had gotten wet. Well, after I peeled off brown wrapping, I had to remove yards of Saran Wrap, and then I had to cut the tape that was holding two pieces of cardboard together, all to get to the cover! Awesome job, thank you so much for the extra effort!)
